lets add some more pictures on.
On Wednesday we went for a walk with the gang up to the lock where we had a picnic. The bigger kids spent most of their time chucking mud into the river and getting really, really filthy. Part and parcel of being four, I reckon. The tide mark on the bath showed she had a good time! Rowan was her usual rock-star self and sat in the wagon with her shades on, taking it all in!
Thursday was a bit of a pyjama day - I recieved a black and white indio wrap that I had traded for my plum elipsen and its really rather lovely. Here it is with the rest of the stash.
Yesterday Tilda's Timbuktu Ocah Doll Sling arrived and she seems quite taken with it. We went to Sarah's for cake-club then briefly stopped in at Nyree's to say hello to the kittens and to collect Nyree's blocking wires for when I finally finish the Cassandra shawl - I'm about four rows away now but they are very long rows, so they take a while to get through - a couple of hours each!

A beautiful spring day...
...with good friends in the sunshine - what could be better? The ELEPhants came round this afternoon for a spot of crafting / playing. We had a good gossip, cake and sunshine. what was missing was a barbecue! If I'd had anything to cook on it, I'd had fished ours out!
Lovely, happy, warm, contented!

Perpetual mess
What little got tidied yesterday is now a crap-hole again. Really very annoying! I'm found out that Winnie isn't particularly impressed with banana, but does like carrot-poofs!
Steve has been messed around by work again today and is an upset/angry ball of misery now. He's cancelled going on his brother's Stag weekend so he could go to a meeting today but when he got there nobody knew anything about it! soooo frustrating! Now he's gone back in to babysit the others who haven't completed the work they should have. Not fair.
On a happier note, here are pics of Tilda's workbook from yesterday - there are still bits to go in it and it needs more colour, but things are looking good!
Tilda decorated herself with a Sharpie,
I've made some frogs for the ELEPhants to decorate tomorrow. The frogspawn delivery has been delayed due to a tummy-bug, but hopefully should arrive soon.
Tried Steve's new tussah silk nino that Nyree has acid-dyed for him - its very nice indeed!

Cake, seeds, glue and lost phones.
Friday morning was a bit of a rush to get ready to go to the post office - finally finished the Mother's Day cards and bookmarks - all laminated and ribbons tied on. Had to make envelopes to send the blimmin things in though.
After much queuing in the Post Office, then the Charity shop (buying wool and a policeman's helmet), then the bakers - all three were full of old people - ack - we collected my (huge) parcel of wool from the sorting office. I am going to make one of these
Realta blanket
and so far have done one hexagon.
We had a friday afternoon cake-club-ELEPhant activity at Tabi's house - glue, seeds, coloured salt, glitter and blueberries.
Katherine got through four outfits, Jess and possibly Tilda flooded the downstairs loo, Tilda got a lamp dropped on her head, much mess was made, wraps were exchanged, and we all had a lovely time!
Upon leaving though, I somehow managed to lose my iphone. Am gutted. Steve is going to see if it is in Home Bargains, but I don't hold out much hope. Pah!
Oh and I've just finished an Easter Egg from Moo Free
which actually wasn't half bad - well done Devena for finding it!
